Ingredients

Green peppers -50 grams

Tamarind extract -1/2 cup

Cane sugar – 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Mustard seeds -1/4 tsp

Fenugreek-1/8 tsp

Asafoetida-1/8 tsp

Curry leaves – few

Gingelly oil -2 tablespoons

Method

👉Heat gingelly oil in kadai, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves and let it splutter.

👉Add the chopped green chillies and fry for 2 minutes, then add the tamarind extract, required salt and 1/4 cup of water, mix well and cook covered for 5 minutes until the green chillies are done.

👉Finally, add the jaggery mixture well and switch off the gas to the desired consistency.
