Back to Freedom
I’m so happy to be able to talk to you freely from Joy Dream Believe. If you’re wondering why I haven’t written in a while, it’s because I’ve been preoccupied with work and life. That is no longer an excuse for me to be real with myself and you. There just didn’t seem to be anything to give after coming home from a job that I didn’t hate but had issues with management. Writing gives me so much joy, but I think because of this role I didn’t want to talk about some of the things that were happening in my life. I guess I wanted to maintain my anonymity, but since I’m not here anymore, so who cares? I can tell you more about that another time, because it might help someone
Aren’t we taught from an early age to follow the rules and go along with the program? Agree with those in authority to move forward in this world. In other words, tell them what they want to hear, whether you believe it or not. I’m not going to say that’s wrong if it gets you to where you want to be. I would be a hypocrite if I gave anyone such advice because to me it is bogus, but I choose my battles carefully and that is my only advice. You can’t feel like you’ve sold your soul. I don’t think that would be a very comfortable feeling. Well, not for me anyway.
I realize that people tolerate a lot of dishonesty and do things they don’t want to keep, and even learn to justify what they agree to because it’s what they’re told to do. What I’m talking about is whether you feel like you’re compromising your principles. If at some point you are no longer yourself, you have sold out. For example, I don’t agree with lying to people or misleading them. If I am expected to lie to clients or customers, I don’t feel comfortable with it.
One thing I have to say is: listen to your heart, mind and gut feeling. Even when I’m panicking, that’s how I feel in the moment and it’s fight or flight. I still honor it, even though I might be tempted to doubt my intuition and question my response to what I received as a threat to my peace. Just because my peace and sanity are priceless. Ultimately, who wouldn’t want to err on the side of caution because we cannot know or predict what our subconscious/higher self knows. I always recommend listening and heeding the messages you receive. This does not mean that you should not take any risks at all. There is common sense and there is ‘a feeling’. Sometimes that’s all you have. Notice how you feel around people. You know we vibrate at different frequencies, and the higher vibrations attract the best of all because they are positive. If we could feel this way all the time, we could change the world, but because it’s not a perfect world, we can do our best.
I want to educate, motivate and inspire you to follow your heart and pursue your dreams. Why? Because they are achievable if you just stick to them and adjust or change your way of thinking. It’s about how you think and what you think you can do. I know everyone reading this wants a better life for themselves and their families. There are all kinds of different paths you can take to achieve your goals. The first thing you need to do, however, is figure out what those goals are. What means the most to you in life? What do you really want? That sounds like a simple, easy question, but sometimes you really have to dig deep to find the answer, and that’s what I want you to do: really think about what I really want in my life. And once you’ve done that, you can move on to the next steps to get there. Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know the answer to that question. Life is a journey with many twists, ups and downs. That said, enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime trip.
