Chia seeds: Chia seeds do not need to be soaked, but if you like a light gel-like consistency, it is also recommended to add it after a light soak.

Lemon extract: A combination of lemon and honey makes the tea consumable and tastes better.

Benefits of black tea and chia seeds
Black tea: Black tea leaves help improve our immune system and mentally alert us during the day.
The tea also helps reduce stress levels as it contains caffeine and also helps reduce cholesterol levels.
Black tea is low in calories if consumed without adding sugars, and I have shared such a low-calorie drink on my blog with this tea, a black tea recipe for weight loss.
Chia seeds: These seeds are known to improve digestion as they are good in fiber, improve heart health and help control weight.
These seeds are quite filling and reduce cravings for unhealthy foods. It is a perfect slimming drink because it is low-calorie, filling and refreshing.
Replacements
I use black tea to make the tea, but the same tea can be prepared with green tea (matcha tea) or a green tea bag.
Variations
Honey: Honey can be sweetened by increasing the amount or reducing the sweetness by decreasing the amount.
Chia seeds: Add the seeds directly to the tea or soak two teaspoons of chia seeds in a quarter cup of water for ten to fifteen minutes and add the soaked chia seeds to the tea.
Suggested chia seed recipes on the blog include chia seeds for weight loss and lemon chia seed water.
Lemon: Skip the lemon if you don’t like the sour taste of the tea.
Storage
Do not store the tea; consuming it after chilling in the refrigerator is safer than storing and drinking it.
Fresh tea is highly recommended as it has more benefits and gives a refreshing feeling.
If you store the tea for days, the taste changes, the tea loses its freshness and can do more harm than good.
