Bajra ki roti is an Indian flatbread made with pearl millet flour, also called bajra in the Hindi language. This bajra ki roti ate with sarso ka saag, palak paneer etc.

Bajre ki roti is a traditional dish from the state of Rajasthan in India. It is often used with dal, sarso ka saag etc.
It is also known as bajre ki roti, bajra roti, bajra ki roti etc. They are just the name of the same dish.
It is also popular in other North Indian states like Haryana, Punjab, UP etc. We usually have this in winters.
Apply plenty of desi ghee or homemade butter on it for the best taste.
Generally, sarso ka saag, palak paneer tastes best with it. But you can eat it with palak paneer, any dal recipe etc.

I had a lot of them in the winter. I make this roti almost every day of the week for dinner.
Bajre ki Roti Recipe Video
Bajra Roti
- 1 cup Millet flour
- ¼ cup wheat flour gehu aata
- ¼ teaspoon salty
- 1 glass of water

Take 1 cup bajra aata and ¼ cup wheat flour and put them in a large bowl or parat

Add ¼ teaspoon of salt to it.

Mix them well.

Add water little by little and knead well.

Knead it for at least 2-3 minutes.

And let it wait for 5-7 minutes.

Squeeze a ball of dough. And make it into a round shape.

Dip it in wheat flour on both sides.

Roll it out slowly using a rolling pin (belan). Roll it until the size becomes 6-7 inches.

Heat the tawa on a gas stove.

place the rolled roti on it.

The remaining steps are the same as those of wheat flour roti.

Turn it over once it is partially cooked on one side.

Hold the roti with the chimta (tongs) when the other side is more cooked than the previous one.

Place the roti with the first fried side on the fire.

The roti will puff well. Turn the roti over with tongs.

And cook the other side of the roti.

Once the brown spots appear, it means it is done.

Apply desi ghee on it and enjoy.
