A mix of fresh green peas with delicious sabudana makes it perfect and filling!
1 cup sabudana (sago)
1-2 green chillies chopped
Few peanuts fried
1 peeled potato
1/2 cup steamed fresh green peas
2 teaspoon oil
1 teaspoon Jeera/Cumin seeds
1 Pinch Hing (asafoetida)
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon chana dal
1/2 teaspoon urad dal
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves – few
Curry Leaves-little
Method
- Wash the sabudana in water and soak it in water for about 3-4 hours. Use it once it has softened and doubled in size.
- Heat the oil/ghee in a pan, fry the peanuts and keep it aside, then add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, chana dal urad dal and hing. Once done, add the green chillies and curry leaves.
- Add the sliced ​​potatoes and stir well. Let them cook until they are light brown on the outside. Add the sabudana mixture and steamed peas and mix gently. Let it cook for 10 – 15 minutes.
- Then add fried peanuts and salt. Mix well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Sprinkle some lemon juice and serve Peas Sabudana hot.
